Laboratory of Clinical Virology and Molecular Medicine meets requirements of the best international standards. Laboratory is equipped with the modern equipment from world’s leading biotechnological companies and is staffed by highly qualified and experienced professionals, who received long-and short-term training in the leading U.S. and European Centers.

The Laboratory provides wide range of serological, virology and molecular diagnostics, including high-tech real-time PCR methods for detecting HIV, viral hepatitis, tuberculosis and other infectious diseases agents. Also, the laboratory performs genotyping and subtyping by hybridization and sequencing of HIV, viral hepatitis, papillomavirus and etc.

Among the implemented methods are multiplex real-time PCR analysis of cerebrospinal fluid for viral meningitis and encephalitis; rapid molecular diagnostics of tuberculosis, including drug resistant tuberculosis by Xpert/MTB RIF, IL28B genotyping, and many other sophisticated methods.
